We are looking for a team of dedicated members to join our Generation Impact Finance & Fundraising Committee.
Four amazing local nonprofit organizations will be competing for our grant, which will be awarded at our Big Give in April. Their programs support youth in need in our community, and if we do it right, we’ll raise enough to give our grant PLUS funds for our runner-up finalists. The more we raise, the more we can give away!
You’ll have an opportunity to learn fundraising skills from some of our mentors, raise money that goes directly to our nonprofits, and add to your resume :)
The Goal: $17,500
This ensures our winner is awarded our $10,000 grant, and our finalists each receive $2,500 to support their missions. No one leaves empty-handed!
The “Dream Big” Goal: $25,000
Given the record-breaking 103 applications we received, this is the year to go bigger. If we hit this goal, we can award two $10,000 grants plus $2,500 for our other 2 finalists.
The Commitment
Active engagement and outreach from our 30 minute zoom meetings @ 8 pm on 2/25, 3/3, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8
Take ownership (emails, calls, outreach) and keep our spreadsheet updated
Attend 30-min weekly Zooms with the Committee to stay on track

Mobilize every member. Your mission is to achieve 100% participation by inspiring peers to write letters to parents, grandparents, family and friends.
Brainstorm great ideas for fundraisers! This is the place to pitch fun ideas and bring your creativity to help us hit our grant-giving goals.
Research local leaders, businesses, and foundations with the potential to support our mission & create a target contact list.
Learn how to craft emails, letters and outreach materials that tell a story and resonate with the reader. Adult mentors will be on-hand for in-person pitches.
